As an intern, you will shadow the WEEI/WRKO Digital Content Specialist and help promote and produce content for WEEI 93.7 FM and WRKO 680 AM.
The Digital Content Intern will gain experience and practice skills including:
-Using social media to promote station content and engage audience
-Building and sending station newsletters
-Building photo galleries for important games and events
-Writing articles (either assigned by Digital Content Specialist or pitched by intern)
-Potentially covering games/practices if schedule allows
-Potentially covering station events if schedule allows
Internships are available year-round and are 12-15 hours per week (specific days and times agreed upon in advance). All interns must be enrolled in a college or university and receive college credit for their internship. Students are expected to obtain, and complete, any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. INTERNS ARE NON-PAID POSITIONS.
